Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 5: Acclaimed actors Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari have joined forces for the very first time in an upcoming film titled Parivarik ManuRanjan, with shooting officially kicking off in Lucknow this Thursday.
The project not only marks the duo’s maiden collaboration but also signifies the launch of a new strategic partnership between Bhanushali Studios Limited and AAZ Films. The film is being helmed by director Varun V. Sharma and penned by Brijendra Kala alongside Sharma. It is produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Himanshu Mehra, with creative backing from renowned filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.
Pankaj Tripathi took to Instagram to share heartwarming behind-the-scenes pictures featuring Aditi and the crew, announcing the start of the shoot.
Reflecting on the project, Tripathi said in a statement, “There was something so charmingly simple and irresistibly funny about the script that I couldn’t say no. It’s the kind of story that sneaks up on you with its warmth. This is my first time working with Aditi, and I’ve always admired her craft. I’m also thrilled to collaborate with Varun Sharma, Ali Abbas Zafar, and our producers who are supporting such a unique story.”
Aditi Rao Hydari also expressed her excitement, calling her collaboration with Tripathi a “learning experience.”
“When I read the script, I smiled through it. Stories like this are rare. The situational comedy, the twists, the unexpected turns—all wrapped in a layer of heartwarming simplicity. Working with Pankaj sir, who is a master of this genre, will be a joy and a huge learning opportunity for me,” she shared.
Director Varun V. Sharma described the film as being “rooted in the chaos and comedy of life,” promising an honest, warm, and hilariously relatable story with two powerhouse performers leading the cast.
