Palak Muchhal Enters Guinness World Records for Funding 3,947 Heart Surgeries Through Her Charity Work

Singer Palak Muchhal, celebrated for her soulful voice, has earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records—not for music, but for her remarkable humanitarian contributions. Through her Palak Palash Charitable Foundation, she has helped fund 3,947 heart surgeries for underprivileged children across India, a milestone that has now received global recognition.

Speaking about the honour, Palak said, “I have received a ‘Hall of Fame’ by the Guinness Book of World Records for my charity work… I have been singing for heart patients since I was seven years old. Every concert I perform under ‘Save Little Hearts’ contributes to surgeries for children suffering from heart diseases.”

She added that 416 children are currently on her waiting list, and she hopes to continue her mission through music.

A Celebration Rooted in Humanity

Sharing how she celebrates such achievements, Palak explained that her true joy comes from seeing a child survive surgery. “I attend the surgeries whenever possible… I recite the Gita, Navkar mantra and shlokas in the operation theatre. When the doctor says, ‘Badhai ho Palak, tumhara bachcha bach gaya,’ that’s when I celebrate.”

A Personal Milestone Ahead

According to reports, the Muchhal family has another joyous occasion coming up: Palak’s brother, musician Palash Muchhal, is set to marry Smriti Mandhana, vice-captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, on November 20, 2025, in Sangli.

Palak responded briefly, saying, “It’s too soon to say anything, but all of us are very happy.”
