Pakistan registered a convincing 32-run victory over the United States in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 encounter, thanks to a sensational debut spell by spinner Usman Tariq and a blistering half-century from Sahibzada Farhan.
The 28-year-old Tariq delivered a standout performance in his first World Cup appearance, returning impressive figures of 3 for 27 to dismantle the USA batting lineup and defend Pakistan’s challenging total of 190.
Farhan Powers Pakistan to Competitive Total
Earlier in the match, Pakistan’s innings was anchored by Sahibzada Farhan, who played a rapid knock of 73 off just 41 balls. Farhan’s aggressive batting laid the foundation for what looked like a 200-plus total for Pakistan.
