Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 6: The makers of Paatal Lok have officially released the trailer for the highly awaited second season, promising another intense and thrilling chapter.
The trailer of Paatal Lok Season 2 gives viewers a compelling glimpse into the next phase of the gripping crime drama. The story takes underdog inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, into uncharted territory. Set against the dark and intriguing backdrop of Nagaland, Hathi Ram teams up with his loyal ally Imran Ansari to continue his relentless fight against systemic corruption and societal evil. In this season, Hathi Ram is tasked with investigating the disappearance of a migrant worker linked to a dangerous drug syndicate. Along the way, he uncovers layers of secrets, while confronting his own personal demons.
Jaideep Ahlawat expressed his enthusiasm for returning to the character of Hathi Ram, reflecting on the success of Season 1: “Paatal Lok Season 1 was a milestone in my career, and the overwhelming love it received still humbles me. Hathi Ram Chaudhary wasn’t just a character, it became a mirror to the complexities of society and humanity, striking a chord with millions worldwide. In Season 2, we dive even deeper into Hathi Ram’s psyche.”

The new season also features Ishwak Singh returning in his role, alongside fresh faces Tillotama Shome and Gul Panag. Produced by Clean Slate Filmz in association with Eunoia Films LLP, the eight-episode series is created and executive produced by Sudip Sharma, with Avinash Arun Dhaware directing. The second season is set to premiere on Prime Video on January 17.
