Candace Owens, who used to work for Turning Point USA (TPUSA), has made new claims about the murder of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. Kirk was shot and killed on September 10 while attending an event at Utah Valley University.
Owens, who has been talking about many views about the case in public, now says she has found a pervasive personnel problem that makes her question the whole investigation and the events leading up to Kirk’s death.
Owens’ Claims About “New” Staff
Owens’ most recent theory is based on the idea that everyone who is important to the case’s aftermath is “new” to their job. She used this assertion to infer that there was a planned process or cover-up, but HT.com said it couldn’t confirm her statements on its own.
Owens says that the following people are “new”:
The agents working on the investigation in Utah and the FBI Director.
The head surgeon at the hospital where Kirk was transported said that the hospital was particularly bad at treating traumatic neck wounds.
Governor Spencer Cox chose the judge for the case.
She said the coroner was “brand new.”
Theories about “Federal Conspiracy” that keep going
Owens has made a number of “explosive” statements since the shooting, and this is the most recent one. She has consistently hinted that there is a cover-up in Kirk’s death and has even called the case a “federal conspiracy,” saying that the FBI is not giving out all the information it has.
In the meantime, legal authorities have charged Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from Utah, with Kirk’s shooting. If Robinson is found guilty, he could face charges that might lead to the death penalty.
People are looking closely at Owens’ relationship with Kirk. Owens’ constant attention on the case has also brought her relationship with the late Charlie Kirk, which had been contentious in the past, under investigation. She used to call Kirk her “brother,” but their work relationship had gotten worse before he died.
Owens was not at Kirk’s memorial service in Arizona, which is interesting. Instead, she sent a letter about her day, which included going to mass and spending time with her kids. She ended with, “Today was perfect.”
