AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a fierce denunciation of Pakistan’s use of religion as a cover for its terror-linked activities, asserting that the country’s deep state has long exploited Islam for political and military gains.
Speaking to media, Owaisi said:
“It is the deep state of Pakistan that only uses Islam as a facade to cover their illegal activities and the promotion of terrorism. They are not interested in Muslim solidarity—they are interested in destabilising India.“
Rejection of the Two-Nation Theory
Owaisi emphasized that Indian Muslims rejected Jinnah’s Two-Nation Theory, which led to the creation of Pakistan, and chose to stay in a secular, democratic India.
“Our forefathers rejected Pakistan. Over 230 million Muslims live in India and proudly call it home. Pakistan’s attempt to divide Indian society along religious lines is futile—we stand united.”
He also highlighted the hypocrisy of Pakistan’s religious claims by pointing out its violence against other Muslim communities:
“Why does Pakistan bomb Afghans, Iranians, and Balochis—all Muslims? Their so-called Islamic identity is a sham for their political violence.”
Demand to Dismantle Terror Infrastructure
In the wake of Operation Sindoor, Owaisi called for the complete dismantling of Pakistan’s terror infrastructure, directly accusing the ISI and Pakistani military of sheltering and training terrorists.
“There is enough evidence—satellite images, intelligence inputs, and direct testimonies—of terrorist camps operating openly in Pakistan. When India bombed Bhawalpur, the janaza prayer for terrorists was led by Hafiz Abdur Rahouf, a US-designated terrorist.”
Owaisi criticized the global silence over these revelations:
“How long can the world ignore this? These are not hidden facts. The people at the prayer were in Pakistan Army uniforms. Why is the world still pretending it doesn’t see?”
Pahalgam Attack and India’s Retaliation
Owaisi also addressed the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack, reportedly carried out by Pakistani-based terrorists who separated Indian civilians by religion.
“They made men recite the Kalma—and if not, they were killed. How long will India tolerate this brutality? There must be a full stop to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.”
In response to these provocations, India has significantly escalated its military posture. Following the attacks on Indian soil, PM Modi chaired a high-level meeting with defence and security chiefs. India has since launched precision strikes on multiple Pakistani military and radar installations, including at Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Sukkur, and Sialkot.
India’s Measured Response
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and senior military officials, including Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, briefed the media, confirming India’s retaliatory strikes and exposing Pakistani disinformation.
“Pakistan’s actions were escalatory. India’s response has been measured, precise, and justified,” Misri said.
