- Bowen Yang, an NBC Saturday Night Live star, has appeared in films such as Wicked, The Garfield Movie, and Good Burger 2.
Adjustments Due to Wildfires
The nominations were originally set to be announced on January 17 but were rescheduled to January 19 due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. These fires impacted numerous Oscar voters, prompting the Academy to extend the voting period.
With the fires persisting, the Academy further adjusted the timeline, extending voting to January 17, shifting the announcement to January 23, and cancelling the Oscar Nominees Luncheon.
The 97th Oscar Ceremony
The Oscars telecast, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will proceed as planned on March 2, taking place at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
