Fans of the popular mystery-comedy show Only Murders in the Building may finally celebrate since the fifth season has a release date. Starting on September 9, 2025, you may watch the show that everyone loves with Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. Once again, the new season will take viewers back to the famous Arconia apartment building to uncover another exciting murder.
The current season’s story is on the death of Lester, the Arconia’s doorman for many years. The police are quick to say that the death was an accident, but the three amateur detectives—Charles, Oliver, and Mabel—think it was murder. As they find a lethal web of secrets, their investigation will take them far into the building’s dark corners and beyond. Their new investigation will take them to links between wealthy billionaires, old-school mobsters, and even some of the mystery people who live in the Arconia. The primary question is still: who killed?
Fans still love the show that John Hoffman and Steve Martin made since it came out in 2021. There will be 10 episodes in the fifth season. In the US, you can watch them on Hulu, and in other countries, you can watch them on Disney+. Every week, new episodes will be available.
Along with Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, who are all returning as primary characters, the show will also bring back some of its most popular recurring characters. These include Michael Cyril Creighton as Howard, Jackie Hoffman as Uma, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Detective Donna Williams. New and returning guest stars will also support the cast, making this season even more star-studded. Paul Rudd will definitely be back as Ben Glenroy’s stunt double. New A-list actors like Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, and Keegan-Michael Key will also join the ensemble.
The fifth season is likely to be as popular and well-received as the previous ones, as seen by the show’s constantly high viewership and excellent reviews, including an IMDb rating of 8.1 out of 10. Only Murders in the Building is still winning over audiences across the world with its ideal mix of humor, intrigue, and a story that is unlike any other.
