Vipin Bhati, the primary suspect in the dowry death of his wife Nikki Bhati in Greater Noida, is now facing an older assault case. Kasna SHO Dharmendra Shukla acknowledged the FIR, which was filed in 2024 at the Jarcha police station. Bhati was reportedly detained for assault after being caught with a girl.

More information is coming out about the inquiry into the death of 28-year-old Nikki Bhati. Police have now arrested all four people who were accused in the case: Nikki’s husband Vipin, her mother-in-law Daya Bhati, her father-in-law Satyaveer Bhati, and her brother-in-law Rohit.
The murder is thought to be the end of a lengthy period of anger and violence that started when Nikki’s in-laws didn’t like that she wanted to open a beauty parlor and was active on Instagram. It is said that a heated quarrel over her parlor on August 21 led to the savage attack and death.
Conflicting Stories and Evidence Nikki’s sister Kanchan, who is also married into the same family, released disturbing videos that supposedly show Vipin attacking Nikki and a terrifying moment when she was on fire. Kanchan says she made the tapes to show how long the assault had been going on. Some of Vipin Bhati’s family, on the other hand, say that the videos are outdated and are not being shown correctly.
New CCTV footage has come to light that supposedly shows Vipin Bhati outside the house at the time of the incident. This has led police to look over the timeline again. A cousin of Vipin has also said something that doesn’t match what Kanchan said, saying that Nikki’s burns were caused by a cylinder explosion in the kitchen. The police have said that they are looking into all options and making sure that all video evidence is real.
