Actor-producer Niharika Konidela was visibly shaken after she was unexpectedly informed about her cousin Ram Charan’s injury during a press interaction in Tirupati.

Niharika was promoting her upcoming film Rakasa when a reporter abruptly asked her about Ram Charan’s injury on the sets of Peddi. Caught off guard, she appeared stunned and momentarily froze, trying to process the information.
As people around her explained the situation, she gently expressed her discomfort at how the news was conveyed, saying it was shocking to hear it in such a manner. She clarified that she had not checked her phone and was unaware of the incident.
Despite attempting to continue briefly, Niharika soon ended the interaction, saying she needed to contact her family immediately.
What happened to Ram Charan
According to sources, Ram Charan sustained an injury near his eye while filming an action sequence. He reportedly required stitches, though the injury was described as minor.
Later, his father, Chiranjeevi, confirmed that the actor underwent eyelid surgery and is recovering. He also thanked the doctor for timely treatment.
