Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 4: The release date of the highly anticipated film Azaad, featuring Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgn, is fast approaching, and the filmmakers are sparing no effort in generating excitement for the movie.
On Saturday, a new song titled “Uyi Amma” was released, featuring Rasha showcasing her impressive dance moves. Actor Ajay Devgn, who plays a pivotal role in the film, took to Instagram to share the video of the song, captioning it, “Dhun aisi jo qatal kare aur inke moves mein hai taav bhare… #UyiAmma song out now. Witness the adventure of #Azaad on big screens on 17th January 2025.”
The song, sung by Madhubanti Bagchi, is composed by Amit Trivedi with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is set to release on January 17, 2025.
The film, set in pre-independence India, features Ajay Devgn as a skilled horse rider with a deep bond with his horse. The story takes a dramatic turn when Ajay’s horse goes missing during a confrontation with the English army, and Aaman Devgn’s character is tasked with the responsibility of finding the horse.
Ajay Devgn praised his nephew, Aaman, for his dedication to the film, stating, “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy.”
Azaad also stars Rasha, the daughter of actress Raveena Tandon.
