The long-awaited continuation of the iconic British crime drama “Peaky Blinders” is officially titled The Immortal Man and has secured a definitive release date. Streaming giant Netflix announced that the film, starring Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy, will arrive in March 2026.

Netflix shared the news on its Instagram handle on Friday, confirming the highly anticipated return of the legendary gypsy gangster, Tommy Shelby.

Release Dates Confirmed

The film will have a staggered release, starting with a theatrical run before moving to streaming:

The official caption read: “The legendary gypsy gangster Tommy Shelby returns in ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’. In select theaters March 6 and on Netflix March 20, 2026.”

Tommy Shelby’s Legacy Continues

The upcoming film serves as a continuation of the main Peaky Blinders series, which concluded in 2022 after six critically acclaimed seasons. The show, which began on BBC Two in 2013 and gained massive global popularity after moving to Netflix, chronicled the exploits of the notorious Peaky Blinders crime gang in Birmingham in the aftermath of the First World War.

Cillian Murphy’s portrayal of the charismatic and complex gang leader, Tommy Shelby, has been central to the show’s worldwide phenomenon.

The Immortal Man will also feature the return of key members of the Shelby family, including:

  • Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby
  • Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby
  • Joe Cole as John Shelby

The announcement solidifies the film as one of the most anticipated releases of 2026 for fans eager to see the final chapter of the Shelby family saga unfold.
