NDA Unveils ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Bihar Polls: 1 Crore Jobs, Mega Financial Missions for Women and EBCs

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Friday officially launched its manifesto, or ‘Sankalp Patra,’ for the forthcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. The document, released at a ceremony in Patna attended by senior alliance leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, lays out an ambitious roadmap focused on economic upliftment, skilling, and targeted welfare schemes.

The manifesto’s central themes are an aggressive push for employment, and unprecedented financial empowerment for women and the Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs), positioning the alliance’s platform as one of ‘Guarantees and Trust.’

The unveiling of the NDA’s “Sankalp Patra” follows the release of the opposition Mahagathbandhan’s manifesto earlier this week, setting the stage for a fiercely contested election that centers heavily on the issues of employment and social justice. The Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with results to be declared on November 14.
