Elon Musk Dispels Claim Of Tesla Employee Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death

AUSTIN, TEXAS— After the sad death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, social media has been full of emotions, some of which have been happy. A user on X published a screenshot of a post that said it originated from a Tesla employee. Tesla CEO Elon Musk quickly and clearly responded to the claim.

The X user shared a screenshot of a Facebook page, claiming it belonged to a “Beth Ayers,” who is a data analyst at Tesla. The message in question said, “Rest in piss,” and compared Kirk to Hitler. Musk had to respond personally because the post went viral and made a direct accusation against a Tesla employee.

Musk commented on X, “This person does not work for Tesla right now,” which effectively put an end to the claim.

Many people on social media liked how quickly Musk denied it. There were a lot of comments, and one person said, “Please make sure this post is taken into account when you give job references in the future.” Someone else said, “Good.” Tesla doesn’t need folks like that working there. Some others were glad that Musk had looked into the issue and spoken up about it.

The event at Utah Valley University happened when Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was giving a speech at the first stop of his “American Comeback Tour.” Thousands of people came to the event, and police and Kirk’s personal security team were there. A single shot hit Kirk in the neck when he was arguing with a kid about mass shootings and transgender persons. He was taken to the hospital right away, but his injuries were too much for him to handle.

The person who is thought to be the shooter is still on the run. The FBI has put out pictures of a “person of interest” and is offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
