Los Angeles [US], June 30: Actor Mundey Young is set to appear in a key role in the upcoming horror-thriller ‘As Night Falls’, alongside Jack Parr and Sophia Eleni, Variety reported.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Aaron-Jon North (The Nun II, The Burning Girls), Fran McAteer, Dale Hayes, David Sayers, Oliver Smiles, and Millie-Sue Hayward.
Written and directed by Leroy Kincaide, ‘As Night Falls’ follows in the footsteps of his previous horror venture, The Last Rite, which starred Bethan Waller and Johnny Fleming. The Last Rite was Kincaide’s directorial debut and was acquired by Samuel Goldwyn Films for U.S. distribution in 2021. It is currently streaming on Hulu.
The new film plunges viewers into a dystopian world where, five months after a mysterious global silence, survivors Jane and Aidan struggle to stay alive while trapped in a broken-down transit van — all while being stalked by terrifying interdimensional shadow entities that hunt anything that makes noise.
Kincaide, a former professional wrestler, co-produces the film with Chloe Chudasama under the banner of Nocturnal Pictures, which he founded in 2014. His filmmaking journey has included several short films and music videos, building up to his feature-length horror narratives.
‘As Night Falls’ promises a chilling blend of psychological horror, survival tension, and supernatural suspense.
