Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: The highly anticipated fourth edition of the Mumbai Open, a marquee event on the global tennis calendar, is set to begin at the Cricket Club of India (CCI).
Organized by the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), the WTA 125 Series event will kick off with qualifying rounds on February 1, followed by the main draw from February 3 to 9.

This year’s Mumbai Open will feature an impressive lineup of international stars and India’s top-ranked players.
Leading the international charge is Tatjana Maria (World No. 73), a three-time singles champion, including back-to-back WTA 250 wins at Copa Colsanitas (2023 & 2024, Colombia). The 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist is among the frontrunners for this year’s title.
The tournament has a rich legacy, with former champions including World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka (2017) and Luksika Kumkhum (2018, Thailand). Rising stars Darja Semenistaja (Latvia) and Alexandra Eala (Philippines) are also set to compete.
