Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has landed in controversy after Canada-based rapper Ms Gori alleged that they were involved in a secret relationship even after his marriage to Palak Aujla. As the allegations gained traction online, actor Parul Gulati publicly came out in support of Karan, criticising Ms Gori’s claims in an Instagram video.

Reacting to Parul’s defence of the singer, Ms Gori took to Instagram Stories to express her disappointment, saying the backlash reflected why many women hesitate to speak up. “This is why women don’t speak up because people think they can judge what they don’t understand. They jump to shame a woman for coming forward,” she wrote, adding that the episode highlighted the need for communities to support women who raise their voices.

In her video, Parul Gulati shared her personal experience of briefly interacting with Karan Aujla at an event and later on Instagram. She claimed that Karan unfollowed her and removed her from his followers to ensure his wife felt secure. “This man, to keep his wife happy and make her feel secure, will do anything,” Parul said, while questioning Ms Gori’s allegations.
Parul further alleged that Ms Gori was aware of Karan’s marital status and accused her of using his name for attention. “You didn’t know he was married? Don’t you have Google? I am going to call your post absolutely BS,” she said, claiming the controversy was driven by a desire for views.
Karan Aujla’s wife Palak reacted briefly to Parul’s video with a comment reading, “Sorry haha.” Neither Karan nor Palak has issued an official statement on the allegations so far, though their recent social media posts indicate that the couple is vacationing together and celebrating Karan’s birthday.
The controversy began earlier this month when Ms Gori alleged that she had been romantically involved with Karan Aujla without initially knowing he was married. She also claimed that she was later silenced and publicly shamed after speaking out, asserting that authorities in Canada and the US were aware of the matter.
