MS Dhoni, a former captain of India and a Chennai Super Kings (CSK) hero, made headlines again, but this time it wasn’t for his cricketing skills. Fans were shocked to see the World Cup-winning captain wearing a Mumbai Indians (MI) training jersey, and social media was exploding with emotions.
The event that went viral happened when entrepreneur Arjun Vaidya posted a picture on social media of Dhoni posing with a group of people outside a football field. His MI training suit stood out because he had been with CSK for a long time.
Vaidya wrote, “Football game with MS” as the title of the post. Within minutes, the shot went viral on social media, making admirers feel a lot of different things. Some MI fans were happy to see Dhoni wear blue, even though it was off the cricket pitch, while CSK fans were surprised.
Dhoni Gets His Drone Pilot License
Outside of the social media excitement, MS Dhoni reached another goal on his long list of accomplishments. On Tuesday, the 43-year-old said he had finished the DGCA Drone Pilot Certification program run by Garuda Aerospace, which is an accredited Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO).
Dhoni wrote on Facebook:
“I’m happy to say that I finished my DGCA Drone Pilot certification program with Garuda Aerospace.”
Dhoni is known for his great love of technology and industry, from farming tools to superbikes. His latest accomplishment adds another layer to his many hobbies.
Garuda Aerospace Celebrates Dhoni’s Success
Agnishwar Jayaprakash, the founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, said he was proud of Dhoni’s certification and that it was a big deal for the company.
Jayaprakash added, “Having MS Dhoni, our brand ambassador and investor, go through the training and get certified as a pilot is a huge step forward for us.”
“He learned everything really quickly and was quite focused on doing so. His faith in our goal to change the drone industry is a big reason why our whole team works so hard. Mahi Bhai’s hands-on attitude shows that we are serious about doing things well and coming up with new ideas.
Over 2,500 people have already trained to be pilots through Garuda Aerospace’s DGCA-approved courses. The company is still a major player in India’s drone technology development.
Captain Cool’s Growing Legacy
Dhoni has done a lot of things besides cricket, like owning sports teams, farming, and putting money into internet firms. He was also given the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army in 2011, which shows how much he respected the military.
Dhoni is still one of the best cricketers of all time, with 17,266 international runs, 829 dismissals, and 538 matches in all formats. He has won five IPL titles with the Chennai Super Kings, but he still inspires fans as one of the league’s longest-serving and most famous players.
