Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh government is set to host the “Invest MP Global Investor Summit (GIS) 2025)” on February 24-25 in Bhopal, aiming to attract domestic and international investors to explore the state’s vast investment potential.
Global Participation & Key Attendees
The state government has extended invitations to entrepreneurs from 60 countries, with 13 ambassadors, six high commissioners, and multiple consul generals expected to attend.
Several leading industrialists will participate, including:
- Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group
- Gautam Adani, Chairman, Adani Group
- Nadir Godrej, Chairman & MD, Godrej Industries Limited
- Piruz Khambatta, Group Chairman, Rasna Private Limited
- Baba N Kalyani, Chairman & MD, Bharat Forge Limited
- Rahul Awasthi, Global Head of Operations, Sun Pharmaceuticals Limited
- Neeraj Akhoury, CEO, ACC Limited
Diplomatic delegates will be led by consul generals from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and Malaysia. Senior representatives from the UK, Poland, the Netherlands, and Canada will also be present.
Additionally, ambassadors from Nepal, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Burkina Faso, along with high commissioners from Rwanda, Seychelles, Jamaica, Lesotho, and Uganda, have confirmed their participation.
World Bank & Global Trade Agencies Join Summit
The World Bank, represented by Country Director Auguste Tano Kouame, will play a crucial role in GIS-2025, alongside senior specialists in infrastructure and digital transformation.
The World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) will also participate, with Deputy Executive Director Dushyant Thakor in attendance.
Several international trade and investment agencies have confirmed their presence, including:

Madhya Pradesh’s Investment Push
To attract investment, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has proactively led Regional Industry Conclaves across Madhya Pradesh and held investment roadshows in the UK, Germany, and Japan. These initiatives have successfully garnered global interest in the state’s key industries.
The GIS-2025 summit is expected to boost economic growth in Madhya Pradesh by securing key investments and partnerships with major global players. With participation from top industrialists, diplomatic representatives, and international trade organizations, the event will further solidify Madhya Pradesh’s status as a leading investment hub in India.
