“‘More Than An Honor’: Fardeen Khan Reflects On Sharing Screen Space With Father Feroz Khan In ‘Janasheen'”

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 2: Actor Fardeen Khan recently took a trip down memory lane as he marked the 21st anniversary of the film Janasheen, which featured his late father, Feroz Khan. The actor shared heartfelt memories of working alongside his father in the 2003 film, describing the experience as “more than an honor.”

“25th November marked 21 years since Janasheen hit the screens. It feels surreal how fast time has flown. This film will always hold a special place in my heart. The experience of sharing screen time with Khan Saab was unforgettable. It was more than an honor; it was a true blessing,” Fardeen wrote on social media.

He went on to describe Janasheen as a testament to his father’s unwavering passion for filmmaking. “His dedication to every detail, every scene, and every note of music was nothing short of inspiring—not only for me but for everyone who worked alongside him,” Fardeen shared. “Beyond storytelling, he taught me about life, resilience, and the courage to follow your dreams with unwavering conviction.”

To commemorate the film’s anniversary, Fardeen also shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set. “To celebrate its 21st anniversary, I’m excited to share some behind-the-scenes moments with all of you who have embraced his work and legacy over the years. Thank you for keeping his memory alive and honoring his fearless spirit. Here’s to Feroz Khan—the OG Khan,” he added.

Janasheen, which also starred Celina Jaitly, was not only directed by Feroz Khan but also featured him in a prominent acting role.

Fardeen Khan, who made a successful return to the entertainment industry this year with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial show Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, spoke about his comeback in a recent interview with ANI. “I am quite excited but extremely nervous as well. A lot has changed in these 12 years… The level of films has changed. The way people consume cinema has changed… Today, there’s a completely new generation, so I feel like a newcomer,” he said.

Fardeen, who took a break from acting after his last film Dulha Mil Gaya, also shared that he has two more films slated for release this year. He expressed his gratitude to the audience for their continued support.

After Heeramandi, Fardeen appeared in Khel Khel Mein, alongside Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and Ammy Virk. He also starred in Visfot, released earlier this year, alongside Riteish Deshmukh. Looking ahead, Fardeen will also be seen in the upcoming Housefull 5.
