Mojtaba Khamenei Escapes Death Moments Before Deadly Strike in Tehran

Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly survived a deadly missile strike in Tehran by mere seconds after stepping out of a targeted compound just before the attack. The strike, carried out by Israel as part of “Operation Epic Fury” on February 28, killed his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with several senior officials and family members.

According to reports citing leaked audio from an internal Iranian meeting, Mojtaba had been inside the building shortly before the strike but exited the premises moments before missiles hit. A senior official present at the meeting claimed that he was outside and heading back when the attack occurred, narrowly escaping the blast.

The operation reportedly involved multiple missiles targeting different sections of the compound. One missile struck the area where the elder Khamenei was present, while another hit Mojtaba’s residence. A third missile reportedly targeted the home of a close relative within the same complex.

The attack caused massive destruction and resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking figures, including senior military officials. Reports described the impact as devastating, with significant damage across the compound.

The incident marks a major escalation in tensions between Iran and Israel, with the strike eliminating key figures in Iran’s leadership while dramatically reshaping the country’s power structure.
