Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 1: Thailand’s Opal Suchata has made history by winning the title of Miss World 2025, bringing the prestigious crown to her country for the first time. In a conversation with ANI, Opal shared her joy and pride, saying, “It is an honour to take the first Miss World crown to Thailand. I hope I have made them proud.”
Opal Open to Bollywood Career
The newly crowned beauty queen expressed her interest in exploring opportunities in Bollywood, stating, “If I get the opportunity, I would love to [act in Bollywood films]; it is a wonderful opportunity.”
Experience in India: ‘Amazing and Memorable’
Reflecting on her experience in India, Opal praised the warmth and hospitality she received during her visit. “Since the first day I was here, everyone has been so nice. The people are amazing, and we visited so many beautiful places—whether it’s the infrastructure or nature, it’s all great. I will definitely be back,” she added.
Opal also thanked the Telangana government for their hospitality: “Thank you to the Telangana government and all the people here for providing the best accommodation and a wonderful experience in your home.”

India’s Nandini Gupta Misses Out on Top 8 Spot
While Thailand celebrates Opal Suchata’s historic win, India faced disappointment as Nandini Gupta, the country’s representative, failed to secure a spot in the Top 8 finalists.
Although Nandini made it to the Top 40, thanks to her strong performance and fast-track placement, she could not advance further as the competition intensified. The results were officially announced via Miss World’s Instagram page.
