New Delhi [India], May 30: The excitement around Miss Universe India 2025 is reaching new heights, with state-level competitions currently underway across the nation. Known as one of India’s most prestigious beauty pageants, the event has seen a record-breaking participation of over 50,000 contestants this year.
Finalists from more than 30 cities are competing in over 25 state contests, all aiming for one of the coveted 51 spots in the national finale, scheduled for July. The winner of the Miss Universe India 2025 title will go on to represent the country at the Miss Universe global pageant.
The competition involves multiple stages, including auditions, grooming sessions, talent showcases, and panel discussions on pressing social issues. Contestants also face a series of challenges designed to test their charisma, intellect, and confidence before the final round.
Key Upcoming State Events:
- June 2: Miss Universe Madhya Pradesh – Empire Hotel, Bhopal (7 PM onwards)
- June 4: Joint Finale for Miss Universe Delhi, Haryana, and Uttarakhand – The Grand, Vasant Kunj, Delhi (8 PM onwards)
- June 7: Miss Universe Himachal Pradesh – Baantalai Resort, Hamirpur (6 PM onwards)
Participants are undergoing intensive training under the guidance of leading stylists, makeup artists, choreographers, and designers to prepare for the national stage.
India has a proud legacy at Miss Universe, with Sushmita Sen becoming the first Indian to win the crown in 1994 and Harnaaz Sandhu following in her footsteps in 2021. Sushmita recently marked the 31st anniversary of her historic win with a heartfelt Instagram post, reminiscing about her journey and expressing gratitude for the experience.

The Miss Universe India 2025 grand finale is being organized by K Sera Sera Box Office in collaboration with Glamanand Entertainment and will take place in July.
