Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor celebrated his 45th birthday on February 25, with wife Mira Rajput marking the occasion through a heartfelt social media post filled with love and subtle PDA. The actor also received an adorable throwback wish from his half-brother, Ishaan Khatter.
Mira’s Heartfelt Note
Taking to Instagram, Mira shared cosy photos of the couple embracing, hugging and sharing affectionate moments. In one picture, Shahid is seen lifting Mira in his arms. Captioning the post, she wrote, “Simply the best… happy birthday, love of my life,” melting fans’ hearts.
Ishaan’s Nostalgic Tribute
Meanwhile, Ishaan posted a sweet throwback image from his childhood, where he is seen sitting in Shahid’s lap reading a book. He paired it with a recent photo recreating the same pose. Alongside the pictures, he wrote a playful note expressing love for his “big brother” and celebrating their bond.
A Love Story That Began With An Introduction
Shahid and Mira’s relationship began through a family introduction within their spiritual community. Despite a 13–14 year age gap, the two connected during long conversations and eventually tied the knot in an intimate Delhi ceremony on July 7, 2015.
