Millie Bobby Brown is set to star alongside The Fabelmans actor Gabriel LaBelle in a new romantic comedy titled Just Picture It, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The film, directed by Lee Toland Krieger, will be available on Netflix.
Just Picture It centers on two carefree college students who’ve never met—until their phones start showing them mysterious photos from the future, where they appear to be happily married with children. The unexpected visions send them on a journey filled with romance, confusion, and destiny.
This marks the feature film debut of screenwriter Jesse Lasky, known for his work on TV dramas Revenge and Code Black.
The movie is produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum, with Millie Bobby Brown also serving as a producer through her PCMA Productions banner, alongside Robert Brown. Executive producers include Alyssa Altman (R/K Films), Jake Bongiovi, Isobel Roberts (PCMA), and David Kern.
The film also marks a new milestone for Brown, who gained worldwide fame for her role as Eleven in Stranger Things, and went on to star in several Netflix projects including Damsel, The Electric State, and the Enola Holmes franchise.
Meanwhile, excitement is building for the final season of Stranger Things, which will be released in three volumes around the holidays: Volume 1 drops on November 26, Volume 2 arrives on Christmas Day, and The Finale will stream on New Year’s Eve.
The series, created by The Duffer Brothers, is produced by Upside Down Pictures and 21 Laps Entertainment.
