Miley Cyrus fans have exciting news to celebrate! The pop icon has officially announced her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30, 2025, via Columbia Records. Alongside the album, Cyrus will also debut a visual album of the same name in June 2025.

Cyrus shared the official trailer for the project on Instagram on Tuesday evening, writing:
“Miley Cyrus debuts the official trailer for her highly anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30, 2025, via Columbia Records. The album, featuring 13 original tracks, is executive produced by Miley and Shawn Everett. Alongside the trailer, Miley announces the album’s accompanying visual film, arriving in June—Something Beautiful.”
The visual album, described as “a unique visual experience fueled by fantasy” and “a one-of-a-kind pop opera,” is directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter. The film’s production is a collaboration between Columbia Records, Live Nation, and XYZ Films, with cinematography by Benoit Debie.
Fans can expect stunning visuals, with Cyrus wearing outfits by renowned designers such as Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Alexander McQueen.
Cyrus’ Continued Success
This new album follows Cyrus’ 2023 record Endless Summer Vacation, which was a major success. Its lead single, Flowers, became a global hit, earning her first-ever Grammy Award. She went on to win another Grammy in 2024 for her collaboration with Beyoncé on Il Most Wanted.
