Mika Singh Slams Diljit Dosanjh Over Collaboration With Pakistani Actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3

New Delhi [India], June 25 : Tensions flared in the Indian entertainment industry as singer Mika Singh publicly criticized fellow artist Diljit Dosanjh for casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in his upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3. Mika labeled Diljit a “fake singer” and accused him of acting irresponsibly amid ongoing geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan.

🇮🇳 Mika’s “Desh Pehle” Statement Sparks Controversy

Mika Singh took to Instagram with a strong-worded note titled “Desh Pehle (Nation First)”, saying:

“As we all know, the relationship between India and Pakistan isn’t going well. Yet some people continue to act irresponsibly. Before releasing any content involving artists from across the border, they should think twice—especially when our nation’s dignity is involved.”

He further referenced the earlier ban on Abir Gulaal, starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, following the Pahalgam terror attack, to highlight the sensitivity of such collaborations.

👎 FWICE Condemns Diljit’s Film

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) joined the backlash, slamming the casting of Hania Aamir. They:

  • Condemned Diljit Dosanjh and his team for casting a Pakistani national amid heightened bilateral tensions.
  • Accused Hania Aamir of holding anti-India views.
  • Demanded that the Indian government revoke passports of the filmmakers and ban the release of Sardaar Ji 3 in India.

FWICE also wrote to T-Series, JP Films, and director Anurag Singh, criticizing the casting of Diljit in their upcoming war film Border 2.

🤐 Diljit Breaks Silence — Cryptically

While Sardaar Ji 3 is facing growing criticism, Diljit Dosanjh took to Instagram with a cryptic post, seemingly reacting to the situation. The post read:

“Censored before release?”

The post referenced his long-delayed film Punjab 95, which faced censorship issues over its politically sensitive content on Punjab’s militancy era.

🎬 Sardaar Ji 3 to Release Overseas Only

Despite the storm, Diljit shared the trailer for Sardaar Ji 3 on Instagram on Monday, revealing that the film will release overseas only on June 27. The trailer, however, is not available on YouTube India, indicating possible restrictions or self-imposed limitations.

🔥 What’s Next?

With pressure mounting from industry bodies and rising social media outrage, the future of Sardaar Ji 3 in India remains uncertain. Neither Diljit nor the producers have issued an official statement addressing the FWICE demands or Mika Singh’s criticism.
