Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 19: The launch of the Hindi film Mera Ghar in Bhopal on Monday became a platform for patriotic expression, with Bollywood actors voicing strong support for India’s position amid rising tensions with Pakistan. The film’s muhurat ceremony saw an outpouring of solidarity with the Indian armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, particularly in the context of the recent Operation Sindhoor.
Actor-producer Sanjay Kapoor underscored his family’s unwavering support for the Indian government’s actions. “From the first day, my family and I have supported this. We’ve shown our support for Operation Sindhoor through social media. We stand firmly with PM Modi’s decision,” he said.
Veteran actor Ashutosh Rana emphasized the importance of trusting the country’s leadership during sensitive times. “The people we’ve elected are more prudent than we are. I believe in their wisdom and collective integrity. Whatever steps India needs to take, it has taken and will continue to take,” he said.
Actress Vidya Malvade also shared her pride in India’s stance, highlighting the nation’s defensive posture. “India is not the aggressor. We are the defenders. If anyone attacks our people, we will respond. I salute our army and all those who risk their lives for our safety,” she said.
The ensemble cast of Mera Ghar includes Ashutosh Rana, Arbaaz Khan, Warina Hussain, LV, Sanjay Kapoor, Vidya Malvade, Deepshikha Nagpal, and Iva Grover. The ceremonial first shot was conducted by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Dharamendra Lodhiji.
