Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 7: Fashion designer Masaba Gupta is basking in the joy of new motherhood alongside her daughter Matara, while her mother, veteran actress Neena Gupta, is embracing her unique role as a doting — but self-styled — grandmother.
On Monday, Masaba and Neena shared a delightful video on Instagram, where the two are seen playfully entertaining little Matara. The caption read:

Neena Gupta has previously spoken about her evolving role, expressing that she doesn’t quite feel like a conventional grandmother.
“I don’t feel like a grandmother. In fact, I have told the little one not to call me naani but ‘call me Neena’,” she shared in a recent interview with ANI.
Masaba and her husband Satyadeep Misra welcomed baby Matara on October 11, 2024, sharing the joyful news via Instagram with a heartfelt post. The announcement included a tender monochrome image of their daughter’s tiny feet, along with a serene illustration of a white lotus and moon set against a blue backdrop.
