Manoj Tiwari Criticizes Kejriwal For Imitating BJP’s Schemes Ahead Of Elections

New Delhi [India], December 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari criticized Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly copying BJP’s strategies, especially regarding financial aid for women.

Tiwari pointed out that although Kejriwal has been in power for ten years, it is only now, as his tenure is nearing its end, that he is offering significant benefits to women. “Arvind Kejriwal is simply imitating what BJP has already been doing in its states, and that too as his government winds down. He has been in power for the past 10 years and has never given Rs 10 to any woman. If he truly wanted to, he could have introduced the Rs 2,100 scheme much earlier. Why announce it now, just before leaving office?” Tiwari said.

Manoj Tiwari Criticizes Arvind Kejriwal: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal of copying BJP’s policies, especially in relation to financial assistance for women, ahead of the elections.

Tiwari’s Allegations: Tiwari pointed out that Kejriwal’s government, after being in power for ten years, is now only introducing benefits for women, including financial aid, as the tenure nears its end. He questioned the timing of Kejriwal’s announcement of Rs 2,100 financial aid for women, suggesting that it was politically motivated.

Tiwari’s Statement on Kejriwal’s Delay: Tiwari remarked that if Kejriwal genuinely cared about helping women, he could have implemented such schemes much earlier in his tenure. He criticized Kejriwal for announcing the scheme just before the end of his term.

Kejriwal’s Announcement of New Schemes: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal revealed that two significant schemes, the ‘Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ and ‘Sanjeevani Yojana,’ would be launched soon in Delhi. These programs aim to offer financial assistance to women and medical benefits for senior citizens.

Details of the Mahila Samman Yojana: Under the ‘Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana,’ women in Delhi will receive Rs 2,100 per month. Kejriwal emphasized that registration for the scheme would begin the following day, with teams sent across Delhi to assist women directly at their homes for registration.

Sanjeevani Yojana for Senior Citizens: Kejriwal also announced the launch of the ‘Sanjeevani Yojana,’ which will cover medical treatment costs for senior citizens over the age of 60. The scheme will apply to both private and government hospitals, with registration beginning alongside the Mahila Samman Yojana.

Expected Beneficiaries: The two schemes are expected to benefit approximately 35 to 40 lakh women and 15 lakh senior citizens in Delhi. Kejriwal explained that AAP teams would conduct door-to-door registrations for both programs.

Registration Process: To avail the benefits of these schemes, individuals need to have a valid Delhi voter ID card. Kejriwal added that people could also check their voter status online.

Political Context: Tiwari’s criticism comes in the wake of these announcements, suggesting that Kejriwal is implementing the schemes in a bid to garner votes as elections approach.
