Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 29: Actor Manoj Bajpayee has officially wrapped up filming for The Family Man 3. The actor shared the news with his fans on Instagram, posting a picture of the clapperboard and captioning it, “Shooting wrapped!! For Family Man 3! Aur thoda intezar” (A little more wait).
While specific details about the upcoming season remain under wraps, a photo of Bajpayee alongside co-stars Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary from the sets recently surfaced online. Shreya captioned the image, “With our number 1 man.”
Earlier in September, the team filmed scenes in Nagaland, where they met with the state’s Tourism and Higher Education Minister, Temjen Imna Along. The third season was officially announced in May, with production underway.
The Family Man is created by Raj and DK, with Manoj Bajpayee reprising his role as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man juggling his family life with his covert duties as an intelligence officer in the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional branch of the National Investigation Agency. The new season will see the return of original cast members, including Priyamani (Suchitra Tiwari), Sharib Hashmi (JK Talpade), Ashlesha Thakur (Dhriti Tiwari), and Vedant Sinha (Atharv Tiwari), with Gul Panag joining the cast. The series is produced by Raj & DK’s D2R Films.
The Family Man: Season 1 premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 20, 2019, followed by the release of the second season on June 4, 2021. Fans are eagerly awaiting the third season’s debut.
