Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra recently hosted a warm and star-studded birthday celebration for his mother at his Mumbai residence. The intimate gathering saw a blend of family, close friends, and Bollywood celebrities coming together to honor the designer’s mother.
Among the notable guests were legendary actress Rekha, filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Urmila Matondkar, and Manish’s cousin and director, Punit Malhotra.
Manish shared heartwarming moments from the evening on Instagram, posting several photos from the celebration with the caption, “Happy birthday mommy dearest … ❤️❤️❤️.”

On the professional front, Malhotra is gearing up to showcase his new collection at India Couture Week (ICW) 2025, set to take place from July 23 to July 30. He will present his collection on July 26, sharing the spotlight that day with designer Tarun Tahiliani.
This 18th edition of ICW will also feature collections from top names like Rohit Bal (now led by Fraze Tasnim), Ritu Kumar, JJ Valaya, and others.
