Buldhana, Maharashtra: A guy from Maharashtra is said to have killed his two-year-old twin girls after getting into a fight with his wife. He then turned himself in to the police.
Officials said that the person who is being accused is Rahul Chavan, who lives in the Washim district. Chavan and his wife were on a trip with their kids when they got into a fight. During the fight, his wife is said to have chosen to go to her parents’ house. Chavan then completed the trip alone with their girls.
Police added that Chavan took the twins to a wooded location in Ancharwadi, Buldhana district, where he killed them both by cutting their throats in a fit of wrath.
After the incident, Chavan is said to have gone straight to the Washim police station and told them he had killed his daughters. A police squad went to the crime spot right away after he confessed and found the deaths of the children.
Early reports say that the bodies were partially burned, which makes some think that Chavan may have tried to hide evidence by burning them after the murders. Police, on the other hand, have not confirmed this fact because they are still looking into it.
A police officer added, “A forensic examination and post-mortem are being done to find out the exact cause of death and if the victims were burned after they died.”
As part of the first investigation, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Manisha Kadam and other high-ranking authorities went to the scene. The police went to the scene, took pictures, and started gathering forensic evidence.
There is now an investigation going on to find out more about the crime’s motive and circumstances.
