Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Inaugurates Seven Flyovers, Highlights Infrastructure Growth

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated seven newly constructed flyovers across the state on Sunday. These flyovers, built by the Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (MAHARAIL), mark a significant step in the state’s rapid infrastructure development.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, CM Fadnavis commended MAHARAIL for achieving record-breaking speed in constructing flyovers and announced plans to complete 200 additional flyovers and underpasses in the coming days.

“Maharashtra currently leads the nation in the number of infrastructure projects under construction. Whether it is metro systems, roads, highways, airports, or ports, the work is progressing at a rapid pace,” said Fadnavis. He emphasized that MAHARAIL’s efficiency is setting new benchmarks for infrastructure development in the state.

The inaugurated flyovers are located in:

  • Nagpur: Railway Gate No. 293 near Godhani Railway Station
  • Amravati: Railway Gate No. 70 near Chandur Railway Station
  • Wardha: Railway Gate No. 103 near Sindi Railway Station
  • Chandrapur: Railway Gate No. 43A/143A at Babupeth
  • Dhule: Dondaicha city railway gate No. 105
  • Jalgaon: Railway Gate No. 149 near Jalgaon Railway Station
  • Washim: Railway Gate No. 115 near Washim Railway Station

In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Maharashtra shared the updates and highlighted the role of MAHARAIL in fast-tracking critical infrastructure projects.

Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, Managing Director of MAHARAIL, along with senior officials, attended the event, underscoring the collaborative effort driving Maharashtra’s infrastructure growth.
