As the world’s largest spiritual congregation, Mahakumbh 2025, approaches, a newly developed luxury cottage complex in Sector 25, Arail, promises to offer pilgrims an unparalleled blend of spirituality and modern comfort. Spread over five acres of UP Tourism-approved land, the complex aims to provide a serene, culturally immersive experience, just three kilometres from the mela grounds.
A Tribute to Sanatan Dharma
Named Vishnu Nivas, Arjun Nivas, Ram Nivas, and Krishna Nivas, the 200 cottages reflect India’s rich spiritual heritage. Designed with a tricolour theme, the property celebrates patriotism and cultural pride, creating a global impression of Sanatan Dharma. The cottages feature modern amenities and an interconnected speaker system that continuously plays mantras, fostering a spiritual ambiance.
Visitors can enjoy satvik meals, free from onion and garlic, participate in daily Ganga Aarti, and engage in yoga sessions conducted by a team from Rishikesh. Evening bhajans performed by professional artists further enrich the devotional atmosphere.
Affordable Luxury and Facilities
Speaking to ANI, Himanshu Agarwal, proprietor of Rishikul Kumbh Cottage, detailed the initiative:
- Accommodation: Categorized into Semi-Deluxe, Deluxe, and Luxury, with family-specific cottages available.
- Pricing: On non-peak days, cottages are priced at ₹10,000 per night. For peak days, a three-day package, inclusive of meals, is available at ₹50,000.
- Capacity: The facility can host up to 600 people per day.
- Ganga Ghat: Plans are underway to construct a ghat by the river to facilitate Ganga Aarti.
“Our aim is to provide luxury at affordable prices while promoting Sanatan culture and patriotism,” said Agarwal.
Employment and Local Involvement
To support the local economy, the project employed local women in its construction and operations, aligning with the Chief Minister’s vision to promote Sanatan culture and create employment opportunities.
A Historic Spiritual Gathering
The Mahakumbh, held every 14 years in Prayagraj, attracts millions of devotees seeking spiritual cleansing at the Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. The 2025 Mahakumbh is expected to draw over 45 crore visitors, marking a historic occasion for India.
With its unique offering, the Sector 25 cottage complex is poised to enhance the experience of pilgrims and tourists, blending tradition, spirituality, and modern comfort.
