Maalik Trailer: Rajkummar Rao and Prosenjit Chatterjee Clash in Pulkit’s Dark & Intense Gangster Drama

The trailer of Maalik, starring Rajkummar Rao, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Manushi Chhillar, dropped in theatres on Tuesday, teasing a gripping tale of power, ambition, and vengeance set in the gritty backdrop of 1980s Allahabad.

Directed by Pulkit, who previously helmed Bhakshak, the film sees Rajkummar Rao in a never-seen-before avatar—an ambitious gangster climbing the power ladder in a merciless world. “Maalik paida nahi hue to kya, bann toh sakte hain,” he declares, establishing his intent to dominate, despite his humble beginnings.

His rise is met with fierce opposition from Prosenjit Chatterjee, who plays a no-nonsense cop sent to eliminate him. The trailer teases a cat-and-mouse showdown between the gangster and the lawman, layered with violence, grit, and emotional drama.
