Washington [US], February 14: Actor Lucien Laviscount has officially joined the cast of the upcoming holiday film Tinsel Town, produced by Sky and Future Artists Entertainment. The film, directed by Chris Foggin, also stars Rebel Wilson and Kiefer Sutherland.
The film centers around Bradley Mack (played by Kiefer Sutherland), a Hollywood action star whose once-thriving career faces a sudden setback when his iconic action franchise is abruptly cancelled. Struggling with his career’s downfall, Bradley heads to England, hoping to reinvent himself as a serious actor on the West End stage. However, his agent has other plans, sending him to a small, snow-covered village where he must star in an eccentric, local production of Cinderella. As Bradley stumbles through rehearsals with a quirky group of villagers, he forms an unexpected connection with no-nonsense choreographer Jill, played by Rebel Wilson.
The script for Tinsel Town was written by Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown, and Piers Ashworth, with additional material by Jake Brunger. Chris Foggin, known for Bank of Dave, directs the film, with Matt Williams and Pascal Degove producing. Julia Stuart, Laura Grange, Piers Tempest, and Martin Owen serve as executive producers.
Lucien Laviscount, who gained recognition for his breakout role in Emily in Paris, will also be featured in this holiday film. He was recently seen in This Time Next Year on Netflix, starring alongside Sophie Cookson. Laviscount will next appear in People We Meet On Vacation, another Netflix project.
Tinsel Town promises to deliver a heartwarming holiday story, blending humor, reinvention, and the charm of a snowy village setting.
