Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Indian audiences can gear up for a thrilling cinematic experience as Locked, starring Bill Skarsgard and Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins, is set to hit theatres on March 21.
In Locked, Anthony Hopkins takes on a chilling antagonist role reminiscent of his iconic performance as Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs.
Director David Yarovesky shared his excitement about working with the star-studded cast, saying, “Working with Bill and Anthony was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The film’s gripping plot follows Bill Skarsgard as a petty thief who unknowingly breaks into a state-of-the-art luxury SUV. He soon discovers he’s walked into a carefully designed trap set by the vehicle’s owner — portrayed by Hopkins — a self-proclaimed vigilante who manipulates the car remotely to deliver his own twisted form of justice. Trapped inside the high-tech vehicle, Skarsgard’s character must fight to survive as escape becomes an illusion, and every decision is a matter of life and death.
With a gripping premise, powerhouse performances, and intense psychological tension, Locked promises to be a must-watch thriller.
