Leaders Extend Birthday Wishes To Rahul Gandhi; Indian Youth Congress Organises Job Fair To Mark Occasion

New Delhi [India], June 19: On the occasion of Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s 55th birthday, several political leaders extended warm greetings, acknowledging his role in Indian politics and commitment to social justice.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took to social media platform X to wish the Congress MP, stating:
“Greetings to the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Shri @RahulGandhi on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life.”

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also shared his wishes, highlighting the ideological bond he shares with Gandhi.
“Warm birthday wishes to my brother-in-ideals, @RahulGandhi—bound not by blood, but by thought, vision, and purpose. May you continue to stand firm and lead with courage. In our march towards a brighter India, victory shall be ours,” Stalin wrote.

Veteran Congress leader Ashok Gehlot praised Gandhi for his unwavering stand on social justice and the Constitution.
“The extent to which Rahul ji is fighting for the rights of the oppressed, deprived, Dalits, Tribals, backward classes, and the poor among the upper castes in this country is truly unprecedented. It’s true social justice,” he said. Gehlot expressed hope that Gandhi would step forward to lead the nation in its fight to strengthen democracy and uphold constitutional values.

🎯 Job Fair Organised by Indian Youth Congress

To commemorate their leader’s birthday, the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) has organised a large-scale job fair at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.

IYC President Uday Bhanu Chib said over 100 companies and multinational corporations are participating, offering more than 5,000 jobs.
“This is our effort to help the youth. Since Congress is not at the Centre currently to implement employment policies directly, we are bringing private companies to conduct on-spot interviews and issue offer letters,” Chib told ANI.

He highlighted that job seekers from all educational backgrounds—including 10th, 12th, graduates, and postgraduates—are eligible to participate.
“Even those who haven’t registered can come directly for on-spot registration,” he added.

The initiative is being seen as both a welfare measure and a political statement amid rising concerns over unemployment, with Chib noting that BJP’s own figures reflect the highest unemployment rate in 50 years.
