Los Angeles [US], June 17: Actor Lara Wolf is set to join Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi in the upcoming action thriller Hotel Tehran, according to sources reported by Deadline.
Wolf will portray Maryam, a courageous and compassionate journalist and photographer who has endured five years in an Iranian prison. The character, the daughter of famed dissident Fariba Rajevi, remains committed to the fight for women’s rights despite her traumatic past.
Zachary Levi stars as Tucker, the head of a team of former CIA operatives. These agents, tormented by their past missions, embark on a high-stakes operation in the heart of Tehran — one that could change everything.
Hotel Tehran is being helmed by director Guy Moshe, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Bacci. The story is based on an original concept by Bazzel Baz, a former CIA special operations officer.
The film is produced by Marina Grasic for Oakhurst Entertainment, alongside Matthew G. Zamias of Astral Future and Wendy Sweetmore of Dreamtime Films. Executive producers include Moshe, Baz, Justin C. Oberman, William Doyle, and Astral Future’s Harel and Arbel Kodesh.
Lara Wolf was most recently seen opposite Anthony Hopkins in the Peacock series Those About to Die. She is represented by Vault Entertainment.
