Los Angeles [US], January 27: Lady Gaga has officially announced the release of her upcoming album, Mayhem, which is set to drop on March 7. The singer revealed the news through a cinematic teaser video on Instagram, featuring eerie imagery and pulsating music, with the caption: “MAYHEM coming March 7.”
The announcement has stirred excitement among her fans, with many expressing their anticipation on social media. “Too good,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “Yaaay, can’t wait.”
In a statement, Gaga explained the creative process behind Mayhem, saying, “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved.” She described her approach to music as similar to a shattered mirror—though the pieces may not fit back together perfectly, something beautiful can emerge from the process.
The album will include 14 tracks, with previously released singles like “Disease” and “Die With a Smile.” Executive producers for the project are Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt, with additional production credits to Gaga, Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.
While the full tracklist is yet to be revealed, Gaga’s third single will premiere as a commercial during the 2025 Grammy Awards on February 2.
