The MTV Video Music Awards in 2025 will have Lady Gaga as a singer. She has the most nominations. This will be a major step forward for her. She will sing live from New York’s UBS Arena on CBS and Paramount+ on September 7.
The singer garnered 12 nominations for her new album, Mayhem, and for the songs “Die With a Smile” and “Abracadabra,” which she made with Bruno Mars. She has more nominations than Bruno Mars (11), Kendrick Lamar (10), Sabrina Carpenter and ROSÉ (8), Ariana Grande and The Weeknd (7), and Ariana Grande and The Weeknd (7).
Lady Gaga said that her new song, “The Dead Dance,” will come out on Wednesday, the same day that the second season of the show comes out on Netflix. This is in addition to the performance. The single will be out on September 3, only a few days before the VMAs and the start of the second portion of the season.
Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, Doja Cat, J Balvin, and Tate McRae are just a few of the prominent personalities who will be at the VMAs. Mariah Carey gets the Video Vanguard Award, Busta Rhymes wins the Rock the Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin wins the Latin Icon Award. The show will be hosted by LL Cool J.
