Los Angeles [US], April 19: Singer Lady Gaga experienced a brief technical hiccup during her headlining set at Coachella 2025’s second weekend on Friday night, as her head mic malfunctioned during the performance of “Abracadabra,” her second song of the night, according to Variety.
Despite the glitch, Gaga showcased her professionalism by smoothly switching to a handheld mic without interrupting her performance. Holding a mic in one hand and a cane in the other, she powered through the choreography seamlessly until a fresh head mic was brought out, which functioned without issue for the rest of the set.
Addressing the crowd, Gaga offered an apology with her signature charm:
“I’m sorry my mic was broken for a second… at least you know I sing live.” She added, “I guess all we can do is our best, and I’m certainly giving you my best tonight.”
The performance marked another memorable moment in Coachella 2025, which will conclude on Sunday.
