Actress and Bigg Boss 19 contestant Kunickaa Sadanand has issued a stern warning against the creators of a viral AI-generated image depicting her alongside singer Kumar Sanu.
The fabricated photo, which shows the duo posing closely in matching floral outfits, sparked a sharp reaction from Sadanand on social media. She slammed the “fandom wars” responsible for the image, reminding the public that Sanu is happily married with children and possesses legally protected personality rights.
Sadanand, who has been candid about her past six-year relationship with the singer during a period when he was estranged from his wife, emphasized that personal histories should not be exploited for online engagement.
In her post on X, she labeled the AI-manipulated content as defamatory and threatened formal legal action, urging users to respect privacy and boundaries. “Sharam karo! (Have some shame),” she wrote, noting that such misuse of AI could lead to serious legal consequences.
The actress has previously shared details of their “toxic” yet significant past, comparing it to the legendary bond of Shakuntala and Dushyant. However, she maintained that dragging their history into the present via deepfake technology is an infringement on their current lives. This incident adds to the growing list of Indian celebrities seeking judicial intervention against the unauthorized use of their likeness through generative AI.
