India spinner Kuldeep Yadav married his childhood friend Vanshika Chaddha on Saturday in the scenic hill station of Mussoorie.
The wedding ceremony was attended by several current and former cricketers, including his ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026-winning teammates Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh.

The wedding celebrations were held at the iconic Welcomhotel The Savoy, which was reportedly reserved for several days to host guests and various wedding events.
Several images circulating online also captured moments from the couple’s Sangeet ceremony, where the bride and groom were seen wearing coordinated traditional outfits.
Cricket stars Suresh Raina and Yuzvendra Chahal shared photos from the celebrations on social media.
Chahal Congratulates Kuldeep
Extending his wishes, Yuzvendra Chahal posted a heartfelt message for the newlyweds on X.

Fans also flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the couple after photos and clips from the event began trending online.
Tilak Varma Attends Wedding Before IPL Preparations
Tilak Varma, who arrived in Mussoorie on Saturday, said he would enjoy the wedding celebrations before shifting focus to the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season.
Tilak is set to represent Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions.
“We’re going to Kuldeep’s wedding to have fun. After that, we’ll prepare for IPL,” Tilak said in a statement.
Wedding Postponed For T20 World Cup Campaign
According to media reports, Kuldeep had originally planned to marry in November 2025 but postponed the ceremony to focus on India’s campaign in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The left-arm wrist spinner played one match during the tournament, returning impressive figures of 1/14 against Pakistan national cricket team in the group stage.
A Childhood Love Story From Kanpur
Kuldeep and Vanshika both hail from Kanpur, where they grew up just about three kilometres apart.
The couple got engaged last year in Lucknow, while Vanshika currently works as an employee with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
Ahead of the wedding, Kuldeep’s father Ram Singh Yadav also met Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, to personally invite him to the ceremony.
