Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has officially begun shooting for her upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film also stars Dhanush alongside Kriti in the lead roles.
Tere Ishk Mein is a highly anticipated spiritual sequel to the much-loved 2013 hit Raanjhanaa, starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor. Kriti plays the character of Mukti, a role that has already captured the audience’s attention after the makers revealed her first look in the romantic drama.
Taking to Instagram, Kriti shared a photo from the set, where she was seen holding the clapboard with Tere Ishk Mein written on it. She captioned the picture:
“Day 1, let’s go. Such a good feeling being back on set. Doing what I love the most!”
Earlier this year, the makers unveiled an intriguing promo introducing Kriti’s character Mukti. In the clip, she is seen pouring kerosene on herself, preparing to set herself on fire, only to later sit in a corner, lighting a cigarette. The promo piqued fans’ curiosity, and Dhanush also shared his excitement on Instagram:
