Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 14 – Kriti Sanon celebrated this year’s Holi on the sets of her upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein, where she stars alongside Dhanush in the lead role. The actress shared a vibrant, colorful picture with Dhanush and the film’s producer, Aanand L Rai, on Instagram, extending her festive greetings to fans.
“Lights. Camera. HOLI! Rang chaahe kum ho, ISHQ bohot hai! #TereIshkMein @aanandlrai @dhanushkraja,” Kriti captioned the cheerful post, reflecting the joyous vibe of the festival.
At the recent IIFA 2025 awards, Kriti expressed her excitement about being part of the project, calling it a “beautiful film” and noting that it was something she hadn’t done before. “Love stories are my favorite genre, and Anand sir does them so well and uniquely. Working with Dhanush for the first time is also very exciting,” she added.
The film was announced last year on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa, with Aanand L Rai expressing his deep connection to Dhanush, as well as the lasting impact of their previous collaboration. “There couldn’t be a more perfect day to unveil our next venture, Tere Ishk Mein, with Dhanush. Raanjhanaa holds a special place in my heart, and the love and adoration it continues to receive from fans worldwide is truly heartwarming,” he said in a statement.
Rai also released an intriguing promo for the film, featuring Dhanush running through dark alleys holding a Molotov cocktail. At the end of his intense monologue, Dhanush’s character says, “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?” (Last time it was Kundan, he agreed. But how will you stop Shankar this time?)
Dhanush also expressed his enthusiasm for the film, tweeting, “Har har Mahadev… My next Hindi film.”
The film, which promises to be an intense love story, has already generated buzz, especially with the collaboration of Dhanush and Aanand L Rai, both known for their distinct storytelling style.
