Washington [US], April 21: Actress Kristen Stewart and screenwriter Dylan Meyer are officially married! The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony held at their Los Angeles home on April 20, as reported by E! News.
The duo, who obtained their marriage license earlier in the week, tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family, including actress Ashley Benson. This heartwarming celebration comes more than three years after Stewart confirmed their engagement.
Previously, Stewart had opened up about her dream wedding, sharing that she preferred a low-key vibe. “I want to stay home. Like, I want to be in L.A. so everyone can come… I want it to be pretty chill,” she said in an interview. “We’re just going to, like, stand and, like, do vows and f–king party after.”
She also revealed that she wanted to be proposed to, and Meyer “nailed it.” The proposal was described as “really cute” and perfectly aligned with what Stewart had envisioned.
The couple met while working on a film years ago, but sparks didn’t fly until they reconnected at a friend’s birthday party six years later. Romance rumors began swirling in August 2019, and by September, Stewart was already dreaming of marriage, saying she couldn’t “f–king wait” to be engaged.
Reflecting on their love, Stewart once said, “I feel so lucky… It’s so nice to know something in this world. I know I’m so surely happy. I’m so stoked.”
