Washington, March 2: Kirk Burrowes, co-founder and former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, has filed a lawsuit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of a long-standing pattern of sexual assault, violence, and intimidation over the past decade.
In an 18-page complaint filed in New York, Burrowes, through his attorney Tyrone Blackburn, alleges that Combs subjected him to repeated sexual harassment, physical aggression, and coercion, including unwanted sexual advances, voyeurism, nudity, and degrading sexual acts—many of which occurred during what Burrowes believed to be business meetings. The lawsuit claims that Combs fostered a toxic environment filled with fear, psychological manipulation, and intimidation.
Burrowes further accuses Combs of escalating the campaign of control by resorting to physical violence, blackmail, career sabotage, and financial extortion. He asserts that Combs coerced him into relinquishing a 25% stake in Bad Boy Entertainment, which he believes was done through force and manipulation.
This legal action follows a previous 2003 lawsuit from Burrowes regarding a 1996 incident, which was dismissed. Just two days earlier, Burrowes filed another suit against Combs’ mother, Janice Combs, accusing her of fraudulently taking control of his 25% stake in the company after alleged threats of physical violence from her son.
Combs’ legal team has dismissed the new lawsuit as a “frivolous” attempt to re-litigate claims that have been thrown out in court multiple times over the last 30 years. They also criticized the involvement of Combs’ 80-year-old mother in the case.
Burrowes is seeking a jury trial and requesting compensation for the physical, emotional, and financial damage he claims to have endured from Combs’ actions.
The lawsuit is the latest in a series of allegations of sexual misconduct against Combs, who has denied the accusations.
