Kiren Rijiju Offers ‘Chadar’ At Nizamuddin Dargah Before Ajmer Sharif Visit

New Delhi [India], January 3: Ahead of his visit to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah to offer a “Chadar” on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the 813th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju visited the Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah in Delhi on Friday to offer his prayers. Rijiju was accompanied by Jamal Siddiqui, the National President of the BJP Minority Morcha, as they presented the “chadar” at the Dargah.

Speaking to reporters, Rijiju explained, “Before heading to Ajmer Sharif to offer the chadar from PM Modi, I thought it would be meaningful to visit the Nizamuddin Dargah first. That’s why I came here today to pray for everyone and for the future.”

He further shared that he was traveling to Ajmer Sharif with a message from Prime Minister Modi promoting brotherhood and peace in the country. Rijiju confirmed that the “chadar” from PM Modi would be offered at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah on Saturday at 11 am.
